I saw an excellent short film during Avant Garde Cinema this evening. It was called "Sink or Swim" and was rather epic. It's certainly a nice balance between how I've been the rest of this week, which is stressed out and nerdfully a fangirl. Re-realized my admiration for Gary Oldman, which happens from time to time. I am planning a project of sorts involving his characters and Tim Roth's characters, and I hope that it will happen.

The sky over Chapel Hill was such a weird color this evening. Because of the low hanging clouds and my college's tendency to act like a small, ever-lit city, the reflection made it feel like a day under a silver sky. I tried taking pictures with my camera, but I don't think any of them really came out well. It might be something that you need to experience, like a dream.

Seeing Amanda Palmer with the Nervous Cabaret tomorrow night! I am quite excited. Amanda Palmer is crazy brilliant artistic, and I love her. I haven't seen her since the last Dresden Doll's tour in 2007 (or was it 2008?) It wasn't the real last good time that I had with an old old friend, but probably when I am old and grey with a mixed up memory of adolescence, I will think that was our last good moment as friends. Which is a little sad and a little odd, but it is also the weird facts. I think this is the first honest to goodness time when I can say that I don't miss her. I have new memories to make, with people who care about me a tad bit more than I deserve sometimes.

Of course that begs the question: To bring sucky camera to see Amanda or not to bring sucky camera? I am kind of in the mood to pull a very -esque concert dump on dA.
